At Utopia Nails Spa a gel manicure is $35 in colour, or $40 with a French finish. A gel polish change on its own is $30, and a regular manicure is $25. All prices are posted at the front desk and on this page.

Every pedicure includes a soak, exfoliation and massage. The Regular Pedicure is $32. From there, the Jelly Spa Pedicure ($65), Volcano Spa Pedicure ($75) and the Utopia Golden Pedicure ($100) add longer massage time and more restorative treatments. A gel manicure holds its shine for about 2–3 weeks before regrowth shows. Dipping powder and Gel-X typically wear 3–4 weeks. Acrylic and liquid gel sets last indefinitely with a fill every 2–3 weeks. Gel on toes lasts longest of all — often a month or more, because toenails grow more slowly.

Acrylic is liquid and powder sculpted by hand — the strongest option and the best choice for significant length. Dipping powder is applied by dipping the nail into pigment and sealing it, needs no lamp, and goes on quickly. Gel-X uses soft-gel full-cover tips bonded with gel: the lightest of the three, it does not require filing down the natural nail, and it soaks off cleanly. If you are unsure, describe your routine when you call and we will point you to the right one.

Every 2–3 weeks for most people. As the natural nail grows, the gap at the cuticle becomes visible and the set gets top-heavy, which is when breaks happen. A fill is cheaper than a new full set, so staying on schedule costs less over time.

Metal implements are cleaned and sterilised in an autoclave between every guest. Anything porous — files, buffers, toe separators — is single-use and discarded after one client. Our pedicure chairs are pipeless systems, which can be fully drained and disinfected between guests rather than recirculating water through internal plumbing. Yes. Nail design starts at $5 and is priced per nail depending on how intricate the work is — hand-painted art, chrome, foil and stones are all available. Bring a reference photo if you have one, and we will quote you before starting so there are no surprises.

Yes. Acrylic removal starts at $15 and gel colour removal starts at $10. We soak and file sets off properly rather than prying them, then buff and condition the natural nail. If you are having a new set applied the same visit, mention it when you call so we can allow the time.
